Data charts on multiple screens in a finance workspace

Lab environment mirrors how audit teams review app exports beside original contracts.

What you will leave able to do

  • Configure sampling rules that reflect deal risk, not vanity coverage percentages
  • Link app tags back to specific contract paragraphs without orphaned evidence
  • Draft exception notes that separate measurement issues from control findings
  • Brief a non-auditor stakeholder using a single app-generated packet

Who it fits

Internal auditors, revenue accountants, and Big Four seniors who already know the standards but want cleaner app-supported fieldwork. Prior IFRS 15 or ASC 606 exposure helps; pure beginners should start with our reading primer (included).

Modules

  1. Contract intake & risk heat

Build a structured pack in the app: parties, term, modification history, and commercial red flags.

  2. Obligation mapping beside the UI

Tag performance obligations while keeping the original wording visible — no black-box classifications.

  3. Variable consideration & constraints

Practice estimating and constraining amounts with app worksheets that force your assumptions into the open.

  4. Sampling that survives review

Design samples for high-velocity renewals and low-volume mega-deals; export trails a reviewer can re-perform.

  5. Exception narrative & handoff

Write findings that finance ops can action. Close with a mock partner challenge call.

  6. Korea documentation habits

Align bilingual working-paper expectations and retention practices common among Cheongju and Seoul teams we coach.

Learner notes

“Week four’s sampling lab exposed that our ‘100% review’ policy was mostly theatre. Painful, useful.”

— Ji-hoon, senior auditor

★★★★☆ · Platform review — “Clear labs. Wish the bilingual contract set had one more manufacturing example.”

FAQ

Do I need the same auditing app my employer uses?

No. Labs run on a shared training tenant. Concepts transfer; button labels may differ. We document mapping notes for three common vendor UIs.

Is this a substitute for formal CPA or CFA study?

It is not. We assume you already understand recognition principles and focus on operational audit support through the app.

What is a real limitation of this course?

We do not cover statutory tax audits or Korean GAAP deep dives beyond documentation habits. If your primary risk is tax controversy, this flagship will feel adjacent rather than central.

How much live time is required?

Two 75-minute office-hour sessions per week are optional but recommended. Asynchronous feedback still lands within three business days.
